Destanee Martins loses her ranking. 1 off from Antalya 2019 Abigail Amos up 22 to 735. 4 from Austria replace 1 Emilie Lindh up 12 to 611. 6 from Monastir replace 3 off from Cancun 2019 Nell Miller down 8 to 478. 5 off from USA 2019 Lauryn John-Baptiste down 13 to 468. 10 off from Heraklion 2021 replaced by 1 Heather Watson down 10 to 128. 55 from Dubai replaced by 1
So while technically there are two reporting weeks left in 2022, I am pretending that no other changes to the rankings will occur and hence why i am posting this now.
This is the Top25 chart for the year. First table lists the players based on their current ranking, with the second column listing their movement over the year. The second table on the right is the players listed from biggest climber to biggest faller. It includes all players who are currently in the Top25 plus those who started the year in the Top25 but are now outside it (Anna). The 2nd table does not however contain players who started the year in the Top25 but now are unranked (such as Naomi or Fran) because it is difficult to calculate their change.
Congratulations to Alicia who finishes the year as GB#1 and Abigail and Emma who finish joint-top for biggest move up the GB rankings.
I had a discussion with Lambda about Alicia and Olivia on another thread. Although they will be tied on points from next Monday it appears that Olivia will be #1 as she has played one less tournament !
Thanks for all these charts - they are very interesting.

Indeed. Very neglectful of Lissey to go and win this week to bring in a new counter which is going to erode the 2 point advantage she currently has with their 11th counters
Anyway, whatever, huge congratulations to both Lissey and Liv. They are very much a pair.

Sorry, it was Lambda, not Strongbow who deserves the credit for pointing out the extra tournament

Saw the discussion - quite happy to take un-deserved credit

Pretty bizarre that Lissey is a victim of her own success and Olivia is rewarded for missing Surbiton through injury.
