Having seen the entry list can't see a big danger to Emma unless i'm being very naïve. Good luck to her. Hopefully she can break the top 100 here.

Emma on court 1 next today up against Tamara a 17 yr old Ranked about 270 who most recently lost in 3 sets to a 15 yr old Ranked about 110 so not dissimilar to Emma in that respect but! she had played 23 compared to 17 tournaments and a good proportion of her ranking points come from playing doubles. So the same but very different.

Emma could be up against Mihaela Marculescu 16 turning 17 in July, she is ranked 66 an almost 40 point differential.

However, 307 singles points plays 300 and of Emmas 6 counters she couldnt do any better than she did in 4 winning a grade 2, 3 and 2x4.

Mihaelas biggest counter being runner up in a grade 2 but the others are from Grade A, 1 or 2 events. If Mihaela wins through it should be a much closer match up than the rankings suggest.

Well not to be Emma faces Evginiya Burdina another 17 year old young fresh from a 60 point hall from winning the Siberian Open (I presume it was indoors!) so 300 singles points play 200
