Here is an update of the quality of $25K titles won by our fabulous up-and-coming group of players, to add in Ms. Swan's success
Here is the updated table of >= $25K titles this Millennium: 6 is tied for our highest number of $25K titles in any single calendar year - we surely have a reasonable chance to set a new mark before December Should Ms. Boulter win tomorrow, it would be our second best year for total number of titles at these combined levels since 2000
These really are special times to be following the GB women

In reality, Ms. Boulter played an unranked player in R32. Giving them a value of 9999, or 1 more than the last currently ranked player, 1280, makes things skewed.
So, instead I have taken the average rank of all MD DA for the event, and given the unranked opponent that value, as that seems to represent the general strength of the event.
Even so, with that generous interpretation, this $60K run was very similar in range and quality to some of our $25K, except for the massive win against Naomi. At WR127, that win against Naomi was a full 180 places higher than anyone else Ms. Boulter faced to win her title; everyone else was outside the top 300 - at $60K! But, you still gots to beat 'em!

Last week, GB women had more wins than any other week in 2018. They also had more players scoring points, and more players winning a match to earn those points (as opposed to WC or points won despite a first round loss) than in week in 2017 or 2018 YTD
Field strengths:
Trnava is basically deranged - the strongest ITF of 2018 so far, stronger than all WTA $125K this year and at least 3 WTA Internationals (I haven't plotted all the WTA events above $125K, so it may well be more). The Spainish $25K+H on clay is not only stronger by far than the two Asian $25K, it is stronger than both of the weeks $60K, including the Euro $60K on clay!!!
Final post, cheers.
Done.

Great charts as usual, for those that have stayed in Asia, it has certainly paid off in terms of field strengths, now to make it count in terms of results!
that would be a real shame, Blob adds a lot to the forum, he certainly does.
Is it still possible to PM someone who is deleted to see if anything happened that turned them away? Sometimes folks can get upset by something no one else spots and it gets out of hand?
Haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere, just their absence. But blob's forum status is shown as "Deleted"
Hope to see again before too long !
I'm really sorry to hear that as I love all his interesting tables. That's a big loss to the forum. I'm still in remission from the loss of Steven's top 25 tables and now no Blob either. How's a tennis fan supposed to survive?
That's just the worse news. I'm relatively new here, but I have found the insight he adds through his charts and data to be interesting and invaluable.

No, the PM option is not available for someone who is deleted. And they would have to have been signed in anyway to read it. Unless someone knows an email contact or anything else?
If hopefully well, they can of course read the forum and this thread. In which case unsurprisingly it is clear they are already much missed.
Oh No, their posts were quote informative and the charts and stats although not always of interest to me personally, I could appreciate that they took time and effort to make them and post them.
