Looks like her season has been affected by 2 separate injury spells. She's only played 6 events since losing to Hev in Hobart and retired in her last match at 0-3 in early April. Tennis Australia scrapped their FO playoff this year (which Issy won) and just gave the reciprocal WC to Hon as the highest ranked, but if even if she was fit and they went the play off route again, I doubt she would have got in. She's 120+ places below where she was ranked this time last year.

I still try and keep an eye on her results in case there's another Naiktha situation.

6 months have now elapsed since her last match entered in retirement. No sign of a return?

Looking at her instagram account, she has gotten a dog and has been going around some of Europe with the dog and boyfriend. But no posts of practising etc.

I saw on her social media it said 'ex Australian tennis player', and looks like she retired last June according to her local paper in an article a couple of months ago:

I assume she must have told this reporter in May as it did seem a bit random to produce an article of not too much substance 11 months later.
