After winning his last event Blu Baker steps up to a G2 for the first time. He plays an American who also won his last lower grade event. Maria Budin has drawn a short straw, pitched against second seed Dalayna Hewitt, who has beaten top 20 players in her last two tournaments - only stopped in the US Open by eventual runner-up Cori Gauff.

Both players lost out in the doubles, although Maria by a whisker - 13-11 in the MTB :(
