As usual the under 12s play on clay at Bournemouth while the other age groups are on the hard courts at Nottingham. Draws can be found at http://lta.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/draws.aspx?id=2E8C85B0-AFFB-4353-A1F1-F73BEAEB278F for Nottingham and http://lta.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/draws.aspx?id=D6BE096E-6062-45A6-B1A5-11619255818A for Bournemouth
Live scores from Nottingham are at http://www.tennisticker.de/gbr/sb.html?tournid=3305 with play having started today in the under 14s and under 18s. Both our leading TE under 14s, Jack Pinnington Jones and Joel Pierleoni, won comfortably today. Harry Wendelken and James Story are top seeds in the under 16s while Oscar Cutting and Brandon Murphy are top seeds in the under 18s (Oscar narrowly avoiding an opening defeat to Tad MacLean today)
Though unseeded here Josh Wilson is the highest ranked (ITF) of the U18 semi-finalists. All our European Summer Cup team made it through to the U14 semis, though Jack PJ was extended to a 2-6 7-6(2) 6-4 scoreline by William Nolan
U18 SF
(1) Oscar Cutting v (WC) Josh Wilson
Daniel Martin v (2) Brandon Murphy
U14 SF
(1) Jack Pinnington Jones v Ali Hassanhabib
Harry Lazell v (2) Joel Pierleoni
Luca continued his impressive run of one-sided scorelines, and is joined on the honours board by Harry (who adds the under 16 title to the under 14 claimed last year)
Guess that's the last we'll see of Luca competing in national championships. He's probably being given a scrub down right now by the LTA to make sure he hasn't been contaminated by mixing with lesser opposition.
