Get the feeling it's not going to be Liam's day. De Loore serving at *5-6 15-30 smacks one against the net and gets a clean net cord winner. TB time again.

The key point in the tiebreak was at 4-4 on Liam's serve where he looked in charge of the point but netted as he approached the net. A terrific pass on match point as you say Bob when again Liam looked as if he was going to win the point.
Pity, but if it had been looked at in isolation of last week's run and clear win over de Loore then not a bad scoreline at all. He still seems on a pretty good road again. Just bah so close.
De Loore saved the shot of the match for match point what a shot down the line when Liam looked to have won the point. De Loore probably deserved the win, every time Liam looked like he was on top De Loore had an answer also a very fortuitous net cord when serving to stay in the set at 15-30 down. The ball seemed to strike the net in the middle almost and go over.
Liam seems to have a whole new attitude and his game has matured a lot in the last few weeks it seems. Early days he seemed quite stroppy but a lot more level headed and also looks fitter as well. Should be back in the top 200 by year end without too much difficulty. I wonder where his next set of tournaments will be?
Funnily enough I have been gloom and doom about Liam's chances since the qualifying rounds at Aptos and today was the first time I thought he would be a comfortable winner. I promise to go back to doubting him with immediate effect, hope that does the trick!
