RE: Liam Broady

Like the gladiator one, stylish!

Liam featured on atp site. I know Dan has tattoos, anyone know who of our other players, men or women, are tattooed?

Both Cam and Paul Jubb have tattoo's (I think he has 3). Often players get inked in relation to playing college tennis.

Not GB but all the Aus DC team get tattoo's of their player number.

Because I think they're absolutely repulsive.  I don't understand the attraction of having one & they turn my stomach to the extent that I can't bear to look at David Beckham when he has any of his on show.  I also find it hard to watch football (& some Rugby Union) matches, as so many of the players have their arms (& sometimes legs!) covered in the damned things.  Revolting!   vomit.gif  Were I an employer no one who turned up for interview with a visible one would be given a job.

I'm with you on this SC. David Beckham was gorgeous but in my opinion has ruined his looks with all those ugly tattoos. And I think they look even worse on women if I'm allowed to say that. It definitely puts me off watching Pliskova. Although obviously this is totally irrelevant to the Liam Broady thread!!!

Both twins and Svitolina have large tattoos

I broadly agree, I don't like sleeves for example and of course you hear of drunken Brits in Ibiza and Magaluf and the like getting ridiculous tattoo's but some tattoos are very nice and most of the people I know with them have them for a meaningful reason. I think the Aussie DC have them for a meaningful reason (to them) and a number isn't that large (or doesn't have to be).

You are of course entitled to dislike tattoos, many do, but I dare say the majority of people who choose a meaningful tattoo for themselves (like the Ozzie players) would take offence at being called a moron for having one.

Liam is on Mike Cation and Noah Rubins latest podcast Behind the racquet. Interesting question he raises about what makes a professional tennis player. Is it one that is on the tour or one that makes a living. Saying about being able to make quite a bit in the expo events.

Two stories on Liam:

twitter.com/EleanorcrooksPA/status/1309181721615704064 (on Andy Murray, BoB and making amends with Jo Konta)

twitter.com/MikeCTennis/status/1309155272582221827 (recording a voicemail for a lady)

The interview with Eleanor was lovely, I'm sure Jo is over it now and I'm totally onboeard with all the ribbing, it's not everyones cup of tea but ultimately however you feel about it, it can be used as a positive as it either spurs you on or teaches you to drown out stuff like that   I've never really been an Andy fan predominately because I just don't enjoy his game but he really does do a fab job of supporting other players.

Totally agree with everything Stircrazy says about Tattoos, the footballers look like freaks, and as for having a number, those are the actions of a knuckle dragger.

Carry on if you want to mutilate yourself but it is not for the sane or people that have self respect.

Not quite, Liam Broady has two horrific tat's either side of on his abdomen, what a mess!

Tattoos on women are the pits, a big turn off.
