Great week for Gemma. Even better for George. I have to admit, he wasn't in my radar before this year, but he definitely is now.

George's results have improved spectacularly starting with a couple of trips to Africa around the turn of the year, but with the boys the second post 14 year is often one where they do progress dramatically. Oli Golding is another case in point - ranked around 1000 at the start of his second post 14 year, but into the top 100 before the end.

Today's final proved to be a very tight encounter
