Aidan McHugh and George Loffhagen were the last Brits standing at Wimbledon in singles, and they make a rapid change to clay, with Aidan top seed here. Anna Loughlan plays a girl who has won a G2 this month
A great day with 5/5. Four were arguably favourites but Anna triumphed against the recent Dutch G2 winner. Tomorrow it is Gemma's turn to play someone who has won a G2 this year. Jake tackles an ATP ranked Turk

There will be at least a part-Brit winner in the girls event as Gemma's opponent is Joanna Garland, who has a British father and plays occasionally on the British Tour
Thanks for that, David - I'd forgotten the 'Joanna Garland' posts that went back and forth - and it's always good to keep an eye on our half-Brits coz you never know......
and George's score has now come up as 6-3 6-0 which is pretty conclusive....
With presumably Anton Matus. right on their heels too....
What is curious is that (from what I've seen) the three of them are all quite different players: different physiques, different styles, different levels of polish and finesse..... It's rather like, whatever your personal preference, we've got a player to suit.
It'll be interesting to see where they all are in a couple of years time (not to mention 10 years time).
