RE: Jodie Burrage

No. She hasn't entered and she won't get a protected ranking if she plays before 2 September.

She's been training hard, so hopefully she will be back fully fit with that SR

Jodie posted on Instagram a few minutes ago "Three weeks to go".
So the SR is on

 Presumably playing Monastir or Guadalajara?

I think you meant Montreux - which is the one I would expect her to enter. Can't see her name on the entry lists for any ITF tournaments that week (Vienna W75 might have been a possible(

Montreux is less than three weeks away, and would she really return on clay?

Montreux and Guadalajara both start on 02 September and her SR kicks in that week - so I'm wrong and it would be the week after.

Jodie has entered ITFs in France, Australia, China and Portugal for the week of 9 September using her actual ranking. The W75 in France is currently her priority 1 event and the one I expect her to choose, although it is currently the only one she isn't in the main draw for. The W50 in China could be an alternative if she intends to play the WTA events over there in the coming weeks.

I did think she would go for the Jasmin Open in Tunisia but its probably better to play some ITFs first to ease herself back in before using her SR for the main tour events.

Looks like a good choice of events for Jodie. We'll find out on Tuesday which way she is planning to go.
At least they are all hard court tournaments !

Interesting and I can understand why.

But then like she says she then has two amazing weeks.

Jodie has travelled to Mexico - presumably for next weeks W125. All smiles on the beach, so hopefully it wasn't a serious injury.
