James Story and Tad MacLean are seeded 2 and 3 here with full draws at http://www.itftennis.com/juniors/tournaments/tournament/info.aspx?tournamentid=1100039517
Some good results for our Tennis Europe under 14 team in round 1, with Joel Pierleoni ousting the Swedish top seed and Harry Lazell beating the Czech 5th seed. Jack Pinnington Jones lost though to Bradley Buckland
Defeats for our under 14s though the Danish one progresses (at one time this year Denmark unusually had two of the three top ranked Tennis Europe under 14s)

Ah, but how did he lose? As Josh Goodall says, it's not really the result that counts.
And he did win the doubles title at the Wirral.
I know nothing about Tad, except what I read on his crowdfunding page (when he was 15) which included the fact that he's being brought up by his single mum, comes from Cornwall and travels by himself quite a lot of the time (it's a long way from Cornwall to pretty much anywhere else).
Good luck to him, and young Welshman James Story, in the final today.
