Girls: 2017 Wimbledon Juniors, grass - Grade A (Week 28)

It's a shame the BBC take so many cameras away after 1 week.

The McHugh streamed match is currently suspended and there's no stream for Emma or Katie's match.

Ah, I was just following on live scores, but was going to go to the BBC site and rewind streams for Emma and Katie at least. So I needn't bother looking

Katie wins 6-0 6-3 to give us one girl in the last 16.

Ok, I need to become more adept at that. For instance, Raducanu played on court 16. First match of the day on it. But I don't see a stream link for court sixteen. It's not like there is a promoted streamed match with some big names going on it now, that i can rewind from. It's all junior matches on it and I don't see how to access it via the BBS site.

Decent win against the player who upset her in R1 at Roland Garros!

She'll have a tough opponent in the last 16 - either 2nd seed Osuigwe or In-Albon, who upset Osuigwe at the Trofeo Bonfiglio and is a set up here too, but a break down in the 2nd.

Sorry, breakdown in communications. No secrets

I meant that I had planned to go and look for BBC website streams to watch back, but based on your post I needn't bother.

I just looked out of interest anyway and yes there appear to be only 8 streams ( as you say quite a lot less than earlier ) and not for the courts 9 and 16 that I was going to look for.

Impressive efforts from Emma especially and Eliz, with Katie providing a stronger statement as hoped. We will see tomorrow how much the French Open champion has improved her grass court game (second match on court 9)

R3

Katie Swan v (2) Whitney Osuigwe (USA)

An exciting match up, hopefully Katie's experience over the last year will help she may even be fired up a bit by today's win by her Federation Cup team mate having got a birds eye view of her defeat in Romania.

Good work by Ms Swan - but also by Ms Raducanu. She seem very impressive.

Although Eliz lost in the second round, she did great to win the first and came far closer than anyone would have imagined in the second match. There was a nice article about her in South-West Londoner:

Why is Katie not on the streamed courts today when she's playing the number 2 seed, yet the Lansere (unseeded) vs Serrano (9th seed) match is being shown? (!) Maybe I'm missing something. Surely the schedule should have allowed Katie's match to be shown?

Just Katie through to R2 / L16 of the doubles, seeded 3 in partnership with Kayla Day.

In the singles 5 Americans have made the QFs along with a Canadian, Swiss and Russian.

Yes, the Americans seem to be having a ball !

Although it should be noted that, as always, rather a lot of the junior top ranked WTA players are not here and not participating.
