Bank of England Sports Centre, Roehampton - as for men/women qualification. It means they don't usually award SEs for doubles in the Roehampton G1 tournament, unlike Roland Garros or the US Open, where the warm-up G1 is miles away

Some joy today with wins for Finn, Jack and Damian. Emile and Harry's results still to come

No further success but Damian, Finn and Jack are just one win from the main draw and joining the likely 7 wildcards (Barnaby, Max, Aidan, Jack D, Anton, Hamish and George). Jack M's opponent narrowly edged out Barnaby in Roland Garros qualifying, while Jack D won a long tussle with Finn's opponent in Berlin the other week.

(16) Thomas Bosancic (AUS) d. Dominic West 7-6(0) 7-5

Disappointingly none of the three qualified. Jack Draper draws the second seed, though he retired from his last match at Roehampton

It's an interesting batch of draws.

Jack Draper's opponent has an adult ATP ranking of 666. But, as David says, retired in his one and only match last week at Roehampton.

Hamish plays the guy who, without playing too brilliantly, beat Max Stewart in R1 last week but then lost (although to the eventual winner).

Max's Japanese opponent lost his R1 match last week 1 & 2

Aidan's opponent lost in round 1 last week too, but he's ATP 1086

George's Q opponent hasn't played any grass tennis before these qualis.

Anton's French opponent made the QFs at Roehampton but his results before that haven't been great.

Barnaby's Q opponent got knocked out in the qualis at Roehampton (by Dom West, although he beat Dom in QR1 this week at Junior Wimbly)

One of the French national coaches having a moan about our organisation hmm

Complaining that nobody's accreditation thingy scans properly, that there's only one bus to get there and that they've confiscated all their spray deoderants smile

Olivier Delaitre @OlivierDelaitre 24m24 minutes ago

"Un seul bus pour aller à Wimbledon a 9h, pour les juniors l organisation est compliquée!! Surtout pour ceux qui jouent 1er ou 2eme!!"

"Tu arrives à la porte du stade, on te scan ton badge qui ne marche pas!! Et je ne suis pas le seul! 7 à 8 personnes Léger bug informatique!"

"La sécurité de Wimbledon n accepte pas les déodorants en spray pour raisons de sécurité.... ça doit sentir bon dans les vestiaires!!"

Just for comparison, last year (2016) we had:

Lost in R1: (wc) Alexis Canter, (wc) Max Stewart, (wc) Aidan McHugh (wc) Ali Gray

Lost in R2: (wc) Ben Draper, Jay Clarke, (wc) Luke Hammond, (wc) Finn Bass, Ryan Storrie, (wc) Ewan Moore

Good to keep things in context as they change so rapidly, hopefully the fact that Jay is now top 400 will be inspiring for all the boys.

Jack Draper's at 3-6 1-2*. Thus far the match sometimes has the feeling of the Lower IVth playing the Upper VIth. But the second set in particular has also had some nice play, and one can see where with a little more power and a little more experience playing people at this level, next year could be quite interesting.
