Isn't this actually for Day 5 rather than 4? Day 1 was Wednesday, wasn't it? I think we lost a day when 2 days were accidentally posted together.

I feel like joining in if that's OK.


Entered one tennis contest so far this year and I speak as the reigning Beeb Messageboard Australian Open prediction champion, however I have a feeling folk on here have a bit more of a clue.


They didn't quite cotton on to little things like that I predicted every single 3 set match ( woman's singles and doubles matches ) as a 2-0 victory 


Anyway, howsabout :


Davydenko   £5 AM


Moya  £5 AM


Kiefer £5 AM


Dementieva £5 AM


PS  :  it is day 5,  2 days were spent on each of rounds 1 & 2.

I am aware there are some highly knowledgeable contributors to the Beeb board.  They are rather offset by a number of bampots.

Having seen that my first prediction looks like going down the pan, maybe I qualify as a Beeb barmpot!

Mind you, I never join in their prediction contests (or any of the other contests on there either)

the pred contests aren't tooo bad. I was leading after three days, and was second before today's matches started. Haven't got a single one yet right today though!

I've been watching this contest for a few days and I think I've got the hang of how to play so I'll join in tomorrow morning. HOWEVER, I am liable to fail miserably so don't laugh at me
