I haven't seen any of Laura's grass court matches this year, but did watch her matches from Japan on YouTube, and it does seem she has found a lot more consistency by reigning in her naturally ultra-aggressive style. However, it may be that she needs to up the aggression a bit more against the higher level of player she has come up against recently, and it is difficult to find the right balance. Yet again today, Laura's winning % on first serve is quite low, and I think she needs to go for it more and not worry too much about the odd double fault.

That said, I still hope she can turn it around tomorrow!

 Canoe Lake (Southsea) have no indoor courts of their own, so they must be borrowing from elsewhere in Portsmouth.

What a shame.

 So much for grass practice . But they have no choice really . Forecast better later in the week . Would be wonderful if Laura could survive this matech and get out on the grass for the next match. Here's hoping .
