Forgot there is a stream for this but managed to catch the last game of Em's match. She was moving well and was very much in the points on the Russian's serve, but her opponent was very solid from the back of the court and dealt with Em's slice well. Can't comment beyond that as I saw so little.
Same won 6-4 6-7(5) 6-4 but made life difficult for herself. She was 5-2 up I think in the second when I went off to do something and I was surprised to come back to a win in three!
Trouble is that's more about last year and Sam's fairly inexplicable non Wimbledon qualifying WC.
With the WCs being announced next week, and plenty candidates from the current clear top 12, unless she has a sensational week she will certainly not get any initial WC but be left to try through the play-offs.

All the best to her
Oh yes. I know there's no hope of her getting even a quali wildcard.
After overhearing Jeremy Bate's comments last year, her carrots are cooked (as the French would say) in that department (although he'll claim it's not decision but yeah....)
I'd just love her to 'do a Marcus'
Get through play-offs, win three quali rounds, and two main draw rounds - that'd do nicely - and not too much to ask, really....
