Can't see too many wins there. I've not seen the draw, but even seeded Swan has a tough task and possibly the hardest non seeded player she could have faced.
Freya was 40-0 up in her first service game - and then got broken. It was exactly the start she didn't want and shouldn't have had - given she was 40-0 up. It's focus. Or lack of it. Don't know why Colin has't got her using her legs more either - she has zero balance at times - she's half falling over the whole time.
She was against a much higher ranked opponent but losing 6-2 6-2 on grass in your home tournament in addition to her form is obviously massively concerning for Freya. Just looking at her results, since mid April she has:
Lost 1st round qualifying in Portugal 25k
Lost to doubles specialist SBG in 1st round of Portugal 25k
Beat presumably a WC 1 and 0 in Korea quals, but then lost to the less touted Barnett in the next qual stage
Lost 1st round of Korea quals
Lost 1st round of Korea main draw (admittedly vs 2nd seed)
Lost in 1st round of quals in Surbiton
Lost in 1st round of quals in Notts
So she has lost 7 of her last 8 matches, the only win vs presumably no hoper. Such a sad situation, she'll be looking at Dunne and Dart in particular (maybe some of the other 3 as well) and then seeing her in (or near) the 600s when she has been in the top 300 and a lot of the other group pushing on. Hope she can turn it around.
I've just started watching from this deciding set, so no idea how the first 2 sets went and if there were numerous breaks or not, but Swan has just broken here in the decider and leads *3-2.
