RE: Tennis Sponsors

Another change in sponsorship for the Nottingham, Edgbaston and Eastbourne grass tournaments, with Rothesay being the new sponsor.

Thanks Lambda

One thing that confused me is that it says the events are:

Nottingham (WTA 250/ATP
CH125), Birmingham (WTA 250/ITF2 Series) and Eastbourne (WTA 500/ATP 250)

At Edgbaston/Birmingham, what is an ITF2 Series, not heard that term before...is it a M/W 25 and do we know if it is men or women or both??

Presumably that week is up against Queens and Ilkley so it would seem strange to run an ITF against a domestic challenger but...

SO with Rothesay taking up the bulk of the events at ATP/WTA level, cinch sponsoring Queens still, I think, the only two not sponsored seem to be Surbiton and Ilkley...is that correct or have they got headline sponsors in place ?

 I think ITF2 refers to a wheelchair series/level.

Makes sense, it would be, same level as the one taking place in Bolton this week. Wonder if it will be a womens only event, a bit like Rotterdam was men only.

I think Queens do a wheelchair event as well, or have in the past.

It is men and women and been held since 2019.

Interestingly Ilkley and Surbiton where on a link last week that was on the lTA site and seemed to be going ahead for sure, but taken off again as far as I can tell?

A rather random line up with only Bains actually playing Wimbledon (doubles only) this year. Eliz has never even played a WTA qualifier AFAIK.
