The great run by George L. continues....

As a reminder, George is one of our 2001 shining group. His only points to date have been Grade 4s and 5s. So a Grade 2 semi (and counting) in brilliant:

(3) Max Stewart lost to (6) Louis Dussin (FRA) 6-7(4) 6-2 6-1

George Loffhagen def. Damien Wenger (SUI) 7-5 3-6 6-2


The girls lost their doubles. As did Max and partner.

Great progress for George in what is an impressive cohort of 15 year olds I hope they continue to spur each other on! Hopefully training together last week allowed them to see how they had progressed over the winter compared to their contemporaries in the cohort.

It is hard to know where to look for improvement training in isolation particularly just before the transition to seniors where there is a step up in weight of shot related purely to physical maturity as opposed to technique.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow
