Destinee has really come on in the last 12 months - no signs of her sister, does she still play?

Yes I believe both of them train at JTC at Northwood or Chiswick but presumably unable to follow the same competition schedule as each other now.

I'm not sure it's that. I'd heard something about Essence not wanting to play any more, or being injured. But not sure exactly what...

Destinee, in fact, has had a poor last 9 months; she got knocked out early in Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Nottingham, Bournmouth, Turkey, the Netherlands, indeed all the events she played.... and her ranking had dropped 300 places or so....

So great to see such a result and title this week - really pleased for her....

You are obviously more up to speed than me!  Essence has disappeared from the JTC list of players

Funny that you missed her G5 semi final at Liverpool which I saw her win her QF and she nearly put out Hannah McColgan in the semi.

Well done to Destinee. Taking account of Liverpool as well, maybe rather she seems to have come on again in the last couple of months since her tournaments of last year.
