Emily has a ver effective 1st serve but is getting less than 50% 1st serves in. She runs round a lot to take a forehand but doesn't always get her feet across in time. She has some very good weapons though and plenty of variation, using angles and drop shots.

Emily's hard hitting forehand seems to be getting more consistent as the match goes on, she breaks for *2-1

After a very erratic start to the match Emily is now very much on top breaking again for *4-1

She served 13 aces and only 4 DFs, 29 winners and 33 unforced errors. If she could start every match the way she finished this one she should do very well.

Wu came back to win 3-6 6-3 6-2

From what I saw Wu was a bit erratic early on. Big serve and solid ground strokes from Finn, but seemed pretty much on Wu's racket. Once he got more consistent he just looked the much more accomplished player as his ranking suggested. Was tough draw for Finn and decent effort.
