Boys & Girls: India ITF Junior-1, hard - Grade 3 (Week 1)

Hard luck on the doubles. But that singles win is impressive. Just fifteen and in the finals of a G3 isn't something we've seen very often.

Good stuff, and indeed Jack turned 15 less than a month ago.

Will be further significantly pushing up his new year JWR 134 after this week.

Jack plays Freddie's conqueror in the final, who I see won a round in a Challenger in October, so has an ATP rank just outside 1000

Excellent news as Jack again comes from behind to secure his first G3 title. It may be enough to take him inside the top 100, and he will certainly be close, depending on other results

Boys F

(3) Jack Draper d. (WC) Dhruv Sunish (IND) 6-7(2) 6-1 6-3

Excellent news, very pleased for Jack and his family. As said early a significant achievement at 15.

I hope Anton continues to chase hard, having a fellow countryman at the same level close in age can only help push them both on.
