I have about half a dozen who could end the year inside the top 300. The ones I finally decided to leave out were Sam Murray who had a career high of 165 and has beaten two top 200 players this year, Amanda Carreras who is close to her career high 274 and Freya Christie who has huge potential and should be in the top 10 but who do I drop?
1. Johanna Konta 4
2. Tara Moore 56
3. Naomi Broady 91
4. Laura Robson 92
5. Katie Boulter 105
6. Heather Watson 122
7. Katie Swan 197
8. Harriet Dart 216
9. Gabriella Taylor 222
10. Katie Dunne 232

I still think this is really difficult and there are so many external issues that will influence
Joko - outperformed last year, changing of the guard in women's tennis, so the opportunity is there - very much dependent on the new coaching set up Hev - very good on her day, but those days are getting quite infrequent. Consistency, could see her fly up the rankings Naomi - another that outperformed last year, but Fitzy is no longer coaching and the coaching issue could be the big factor between staying in the top 100 or dropping down to ITF Tara - terrific talent, if the head is right chances to push on Robbo -who knows - the talent is there, whether the attitude and consistency matches it is anyone's guess Mandy - seems to have moved up a level - too good for 10k now and making waves at the next level up Freya - terrific talent, but i'm slightly worried that she has a lack of variety to push on and is too reliant on her powerful backcourt game Katy - struggling to get out of the 25k window, but a travelling coach and some decent results down under show signs of optimism Harriet - another in that 25k window, who may struggle to push on in the short term Gabi - young improving, but may well get stuck in the 25k window Katie B - huge potential to improve - might be one to watch Katie S - if she stays fit, she could fly up the rankings, but seems prone to injury Lisa - good player, will climb, but not convinced quite ready to move out of the 25k window yet
I don't really see any others breaking through bar Eden Silva who may break into the top 500, but 25k's may be a step too far at the moment
Sam Murray may well pack it in, EWS will end up as a doubles specialist. Maia is talented, but inconsistent and still playing around her studies, Emily App could do well, but i'm not sure what her plans are.
The rest of the girls will probably be playing on the 10k circuit. I can see Fran Jones, Olivia Nicholls and Alicia Barnett making moves up the ranking, but @600 may be the best they can achieve. The only other girl with the potential is injury prone Eleanor Dean.
I am a lot less confident when it comes to the ladies game and that's saying something considering what a disaster my predictions for the men were last year.
6 - Johanna Konta
50 - Heather Watson
68 - Naomi Broady
84 - Laura Robson
141 - Tara Moore
224 - Katie Swan
234 - Freya Christie
246 - Gabriella Taylor
260 - Amanda Carreras
274 - Katie Boulter
