Fairly tough for the 3 boys here. Max Stewart has a reasonable starter but will have to take on the top seed Miomir Kecmanovic if successful, while the other 2 draw seeds.
Boys R1 (L64)
Max Stewart v (WC) Russell Benkaim (USA)
Barnaby Smith v (11) Trent Bryde (USA)
(5) Duarte Vale (POR) v Finn Bass
Girls R1 (L64)
(WC) Sanyukta Gawande (USA) v (4) Jodie Anna Burrage
Straightforward win for Jodie today, while Max unsurprisingly found the top seed too strong. Finn's result not yet in - the Bulgarian progressed yesterday to face him when his opponent was disqualified for hitting a spectator with a ball
Boys R2
(1) Miomir Kecmanovic (CRO) d. Max Stewart 6-1 6-1
Finn Bass v (Q) Adrian Andreev (BUL)
Girls R2
(4) Jodie Anna Burrage d. (WC) Marlee Zein (USA) 6-1 6-3
R3
(4) Jodie Anna Burrage v (16) Astrid Wanja Brune Olsen (NOR)
The Irish and Croatian tennis federations must be besides themselves with joy on reading this site with the recently converted number 1 and world junior number 1 in the U18s and number 2 in the under 16 boys respectively. I feel this is a hallmark of things to come as Donald Trump shapes his foreign policy (I mean Ukraine and Russia well it's all so close to each other and so far from Trump towers let's just call it one country and I mean who wants that sticky outy bit they call the Crimea? )
I think it's the fact that Miromir Kecmanovic keeps getting labelled as Croatian provides extra motivation, to be honest very surprised Max didn't get baggled, now if Max had been allowed to play in his salmon pink away kit or labelled English it would have been game on.

I see I inadvertently added to the national misidentifications - in the case of Miomir Kecmanovic (Serbia) that was my faulty memory rather than TennisLink.
Colette has tweeted the line-up for the girls quarters - indicating that the Norwegian girl upset Jodie
ITF confirms a narrow defeat for Jodie, but Finn picks up good points, capitalising on his fine win in round 1. A tough quarter-final against one of the group of talented young Canadians, who hasn't been troubled yet this week, and beat Ryan Storrie in the final of the Belgian G1 earlier this year..
Boys R3
Finn Bass d. Ray Ho (TPE) 1-6 7-6(1) 6-3

Girls R3
