Boys: TATS Open, Finland, hard - Grade 4 (Week 44)

With the home player who trounced the field (including Anton Matusevich) last week unsurprisingly not contesting another G4 Anton is elevated to top seed. Emma Raducanu has not stayed either for the second Finnish G4

...and Anton continued having no trouble with the hapless Norwegian, who ended up with the same number of games as last week. Anton has put together an impressive series of tournaments with a semi, final and win in his last 3. His final opponent is also on a very good run, with just one defeat in his previous 3 events - in last week's final, where he achieved the same scoreline as Anton against the impressive Finn Emil Ruusuvuori. Anton would be on the cusp of the top 200, just behind fellow 2001 Jack Draper if he takes the title

SF

(1) Anton Matusevich d. (4) Marcus Anker Aarthun Sulen (NOR) 6-0 6-2

F

(1) Anton Matusevich v (2) Daniel Michalski (POL)
