Elixane Lechemia (FRA) and Petra Krejsova (CZe) make the final, both winning their semis in two sets.

Elixane is a South Carolina US College grad, who played a lot with our Brigit Folland in dubs, I believe.

Wasn't part of the federation chosen few until 18. Never played any juniors.

Then got selected and spent three years with the fédé.

Then went off to college late (not sure how, I thought you weren't allowed a break in education but....)

Came back a year ago and is doing really well now - making semis in two 25ks (although had a nasty injury in March that put her out for a while)
