Great stuff, thanks, The O.

And not your fault at all that that looks like a truly miserable group of results from our players :::(((

So, well done to Calum McGeoch who seems to be the only player with a singles win out of the lot of them....

That's the men all done.  There are a couple of women's events to finish today.  Don't think there are any Brits in them but I'll check and post any results.

Piers Foley - Washington

Vinny Gillespie - Drake

Tom Hands - Drake

Dan Little - Utah

Jamie Malik - Rice

Sebastian Rey - Tulane

Barnaby Thorold - Drake

Andrew Watson - Memphis

Dominic West - New Mexico

Georgie Axon - Auburn

Sabrina Federici - Texas Tech x 2

Brigit Folland - South Carolina

Alannah Griffin - Auburn

Georgina Sellyn - Vanderbilt

Rebecca Smaller - Duke

and several suspended matches that looked like they were heading the right way.....

As well as the 2 girls caught up in the merger of Georgia Southern / Armstrong State universities (Paige Christian and Ella Monsey), Southern Illinois has announced that it is dropping its men's and women's tennis programmes at the end of this year due to financial constraints within the university.  Athena Chrysanthou is a junior there.  As with Georgia Southern and Armstrong State, Southern Illinois has guaranteed all current tennis athletes can finish their degrees under the terms of their scholarships but it must be a worry for the girls involved.

Although no Brits involved, this clip from the weekend's match between Georgia Tech and UCLA is worth a look.  I couldn't extract it from Georgia T's site so have picked it up from YouTube unfortunately with a dodgy heading no
