Great to see Joel's name back on the list. I assume this will be the 1st of a 3 week stint in Vietnam. If he is true to his word, he is going to have a busy time playing between now and the end of the year.
Laura heading to Atlanta and not sticking with the group of girls which worked so well in Landisville. Much tougher tournament too compared to the other one. Hopefully her improved will mean that she can still continue her improved form at this slightly higher level.
Katy Dunne is missing from the US list as is Sam Murray. I wonder if they are planning to play the 10K's in the UK or if either or both going out to Australia for the 25ks out there...
Will be interesting to see who is down for GB 10K's, next week, I suspect we may struggle for GB main draw entries.
I have my suspicions that Tara may be on an as yet unpublished WTA qualifying list, most likely Quebec, otherwise it seems strange to me that she was never down for any of the various ITFs in week 37. She must surely be thinking about attempting to make the top 100 before she has to defend all those points gained during the grass season.

seems to me Atlanta is much more 'her level' at the moment - she's certainly far and away better than anyone in Lubbock
glad to see Katie Swan back playing again though and hopefully back to fitness

I wonder where Tara is. Laura could team up with her. It must be alot easier travelling with people you know.
Katy D did have her name down for a number of 50k and 25k tournaments for this week, but withdrew from them all. Doesn't look as if she has played since retiring from the semi-final at Sutton.

I rather expect that Tara won't be playing anywhere this week given her tweet after her QR2 US Open loss :
"Unfortunately wasn't my day today at the @usopen .. now for two weeks mandatory rest to recover from some recent events"
It will be more than two weeks since that loss but if she literally means rest after the Landisville retirement issue and who knows what else maybe, then extending her competitive break into this week at least would not be surprising.

You may be right. I had read that tweet though taken it to mean the two weeks of the US Open main draw. The logic of needing a longer break post US Open than she had post Landisville retirement due to health issues, is lost on me. Though players do need to design their schedules carefully and Tara may have chosen this time for rest before beginning her autumn set of tournaments.
Looking more likely you are correct as Tara has chosen a 50K + H on clay in France as her first choice for Week 38, with her 2nd choice being a 100K in Russia.
