I get the impression that it probably wasn't a classic match of our time, and will be one that will hurt as might have / could have / should have been won against a player certainly not used to winning in recent times.
Pity she went 0-30* in the 6-5* game and never got ahead in it to really crank up the pressure then and the TB quickly became an almost impossible task to again fully pressurise B M-S who still lost these 4 MPs in a row, throwing in a DF.

Bit disappointed with that from Tara. Second set got away from her and she had chances in the third. That was worth 20points. Still encouraging signs but that's two weeks we've been back to the serve looking very dodgy.
But for someone who was WTA WR 314 only 8 weeks ago, she's doing amazing well.
And with absolutely nothing to defend for two months clear, and several counters of 1, 2 and 3 on her sheet to replace, it's really looking very bright.
Well done to Naomi for coming through, too (complete opposite to tara, Naomi has a really chunky two months to defend coming up.....over 300 points....)
