Didn't get out of second gear, but didn't need to. Looked a little jaded and the courts are so much slower.

Naomi and HevWimChamp+ are about to start.

Heather teams up with Bethanie Mattek-Sands, which is interesting. Plenty of scratchy same-nation doubles teams in the draw, who are really only here for an Olympics dress rehearsal.

Anywhere online I can watch Naomi? Not got TV access from my present domicile.

I always find it ironic that it's easier to watch streamed obscure challengers than it is to watch ATP/WTA.

I think Garbine just withdrew. Late schedule change. They are showing Saisai Zheng against Abanda instead on Central. So I guess Naomi will face a LL tomorrow if there is still anyone around who fits that description.

That's really annoying the way the rules work. Puts Naomi at a disadvantage if it was so late. On the plus side great chance of Naomi v Jo for a last 16 place I guess.

Keep your head and take advantage, Lepchenko is quality (the sort of unfashionable quality that many people tend to demean her by writing off her having reached WR19 as a fluke or some other excuse ), but hasn't played so well since some injuries
