They don't play-off for third, so Emily and Jodie return with bronze medals. The two singles finals are Tsitsipas v Moutet and Pervushina v Anshba (upset Masarova again)
For what it's worth, Amina Anshba and Tsitsipas won, the latter with Moutet retiring at 7-6 (7), 5-3, 30-0. I sincerely hope that was because he felt he couldn't play any longer without doing himself injury.
I noticed, incidentally, that Colette Lewis tweeted that Sebastian Korda won the US Clay Court national championships. Yes, he is Petr Korda's son. And he's just (according to his ITF entry) turned 16 a month ago. Interesting.

As you say, Spec, I wasn't overly impressed by Moutet retiring two points away from defeat. But, like you, will think the best, given no other information. But.....
And, yes, Korda is another one for the 'Family' brigade argument.
Alexis Canter did so well against Tsitsipas at Wimbledon. So let's hope that's encouraging too.
This is the write-up I saw on the Mouratoglou site:
"Stefanos Tsitsipas was well on his way to earning the title in a high-level match when at 7-6, 5-3, 30-0 he was two points away from glory. A well-deserved glory, as the tall Greek proved worthy of his number one seeding and ITF ranking at all times, he was clearly the best player in the draw.
At this score, his opponent Corentin Moutet was unhappy with the chair umpires decision not to check a mark and decided to shake his hand before completion of the match, handing over the victory to Tsitsipas."
