Gabi, that's just no way to treat the second seed, JWR 2, Junior French Open champion and Junior Aussie Open semi finalist biggrin

Into the quarter finals she goes, really well done and to young Ali and Fran on their R1 doubles win.

That was over too quickly, I was trying to catch the doubles and Gabi ran away with it before I could get to court 17.

But I did get to see 4 games of Georgie and Lauren and the last game of Ali and Fran

" The 18-year-old Taylor, a native of Southampton, England who moved to Marbella, Spain with her mother when she was 13, was questionable for playing the match.

But as she found out sometimes trying circumstances can work in ones favour.

I was really surprised actually I played pretty well considering I wasnt 100 percent, Taylor said. This morning Ive been sick and up from 5 am from food poisoning. It was really bad, I didnt practice but for 5-10 minutes. I really was considering withdrawing, but its a good job I didnt.
