Girls: 2016 European Summer Cups - U12/U14/U16/U18

Russia are perennially strong in the girls events, so it is no great surprise that we lost today to them - Alexandra going down 6-1 6-4, Hannah 6-1 6-2 and Leah/Hannah 6-2 6-2. The other team in the group Poland have had a similarly difficult time so far, and we play them tomorrow

A good day for the under 12s who currently lead Poland 2-0: Alexandra winning 6-3 6-2 and Leah 6-4 6-2. We will therefore play for 5th/6th tomorrow.

The under 12s lost 3-0 to Romania (Leah the only one to win a set) so finish 6th
