As Coup Droit kindly points out in the boys thread, qualifying tomorrow has been moved to the National Tennis Centre - which may also affect the availability of live scoring.

Katie Swan and Eliz Maloney do not figure in the main draw, but Maia Lumsden does. Presumably she is looking to play at Junior Wimbledon, but in the recent past the LTA have been hard on those who don't originally enter, though Jonny O'Mara was granted a QWC.

Tough draws for Ema, against the top seed, and Esther, against the Aussie who impressed in the Ilkley $50K

The main draw starts tomorrow, at Roehampton seemingly.

R1 (L64)

(1) Olesya Pervushina (RUS) v (WC) Ema Lazic
Lara Escauriza (PAR) v (WC) Megan Davies
(WC) Nell Miller v (Q) Nina Kruijer (NED)
Lucie Kankova (CZE) v Georgina Axon
Jodie Anna Burrage v (Q) Lea Boskovic (CRO)
Nalene Helgo (NOR) v (WC) Francesca Jones
(WC) Maia Lumsden v Melany Solange Krywoj (ARG)
(WC) Ali Collins v (11) Kaja Juvan (SLO)
(Q) Esther Adeshina v Jaimee Fourlis (AUS)
Johana Markova (CZE) v (Q) Lauryn John-Baptiste
Emily Appleton v (9) Olga Danilovic (SRB)
(WC) Eden Richardson v Morgan Coppoc (USA)

Third seed, and US superstarlet, Anisimova loses to a LL

Jodie comes through nice and easily.

Very nice victory for Fran too.

Georgie axon had match points, certainly before the TB, and indeed in the TB, I believe.

But ends up losing in a third-set tie-break....

Nell Miller also lost out in two sets, as does Ema

But nice victory for Megan Davies, against someone 200 places higher ranked, and a year older

Good effort from Ema, forcing the top seed to a second set tiebreak. Emily and Lauryn lost, but Eden is up a set and a break.

Eden becomes our third winner in this event today, against the American who took out the 2015 Wimbledon champ in Roland Garros
