Wessels is one of the highest ranked non-seeds (17) and has a good record on clay. The Chinese seed however has picked up his points on hard courts and has only won one match in his two recent tournaments on European clay. Really tough draw for Emily against an accomplished clay courter and Milan semi-finalist

Caty's been in such good form, I had a feeling Katie might come off second best today...

Such a shame for Jay losing that first set.

But he's still in there in the second - still close....

And has picked a hot-shot partner for the doubles - which always helps
