In Martinique (G5), Daniel Vishnik came through a couple of Q matches, lost his last one, but then got fished out again as a LL - and won his R1 match smile

R1: Daniel VISHNICK (GBR)     6-3 6-2     Martin BARBIER (FRA)

 

Aaron Hepburn is also in the main draw.

In the girls, Kate Cunningham won two Q matches and is also now in the MD:

Fqr: Kate CUNNINGHAM (GBR)     6-2 7-5     Frederique KISSOUN (GUD)

 

In the G5 in Korea, Oliver Mayo and Charlott Navin Weinstein failed to get through qualifying althoug Charlotte made the FQR, and Oliver won his first match. Both are in the dubs.

 

In Canada, also G5, Jack Middleton came through qualifying and has also won his R1 main draw match:

R1: Jack MIDDLETON (GBR)     6-3 6-2     Jakob NIELSEN (CAN)

 

In the G4 in Egypt, Eleanor Scarff has made in through qualifying.

FQR: Eleanor SCARFF (GBR)     6-2 6-2     Amira BADAWI (EGY)

Well done to Eleanor who won her R1 match having come through Qs:

G4 Egypt:

R1: Eleanor SCARFF (GBR) 6-0 6-2 Engy ABOUELSEOUD (EGY)

She also won her dubs.


Two losses in the doubles brought interest to an end in Korea.

In Canada, G5, qualifier Jack Middleton lost his next match although it was a decent score against the second seed:

R2: Chih Chi HUANG (CAN) [2] 6-4 6-4 (q) Jack MIDDLETON (GBR)


In Martinique, G5, after Dan V's first round win, Aaron joined him, but not Kate.


R1: Aaron HEPBURN (GBR) 6-1 6-2 Eadwyn BACAR (MRN)

R1: (q) Daniel VISHNICK (GBR) 6-3 6-2 Martin BARBIER (FRA)


R1: Anais DEFOSSEZ (BEL) 6-1 6-0 (q) Kate CUNNINGHAM (GBR)


But Kate+ won her doubles, although the GB lads (with separate partners) didn't.

Bad day in Martinique:

R2:

Jacob BEASLEY (USA) [8] 6-4 6-2 Aaron HEPBURN (GBR)

Kate+ gave a walkover for their R2 dubs, and all three boys (Aaron, Daniel and Herbie) lost .....


Luckily, slightly brighter in Egypt:

Eleanor has her R2 singles tomorrow but, meanwhile, has made the semis of the doubles, beating the top seeds:
