Unfortunately, Destinee has drawn the second seed, so it's going to be tough for her to get past R1 too.

Sonay (age 14) has drawn another 14 year-old with a modest ranking. So that's a pretty nice draw, all things considered.

As feared, Destinee fared no better than her sister, losing 1-6 3-6 to the second seed.

Congrats to Sonay ! Her first ever ITF and (obviously) first ever MD win.

I've been reading about her online, based in Brighton - and there's some good reports out there. She'll get the 9th seed now, so a slightly different ask.
