The second Uzbek tournament ratchets down to a G3, with all 4 boys semifinalists from last week (including Alastair Gray and Finn Bass) leaving. In the girls event Georgie Axon looks for her first win of the year, but probably faces the strongest of the three Russian opponents
Jack also won his round 1. Eden and Jodie have rematches with players they beat at the same stage last week.

NB Ben Draper has a very good physique for tennis, an OK bit of talent and - not at all surprisingly - has very obviously been excellently, and pretty extensively, drilled and coached.
His problem - based on when I saw him - is that he plays like a young junior - constantly looking up at the tribunes for approbation from Dad and his coach.
IMHO, he needs the French/Spanish approach of playing lots of matches (adult and junior) and being driven to the club, dropped off by a parent, told to 'have a good match', and picked up two hours later.
If he learns to assume responsibility for his own match (which is partly age and partly, presumably, his background), he'll make a lot of progress.
I've never seen Jack play - would be interested to see if it's similar or if, with younger brother syndrome, it's not such an issue.
Guaranteed finalist in the girls as Jodie and Eden meet. I'm pretty sure Jodie will be favourite for this match, but they have very similar styles, so should be entertaining to watch.

I'm not saying this because of what happened on Belgium this week, more on what has happened in other parts of the world but is it such a great idea to go to Uzbekistan to play kids tennis in the current climate? Foreign office advice on places like this arent exactly comforting either having just looked.
