Not sparkling form today, but plenty good enough.

He's not exactly in top gear at the moment is he?
Delbonis deservedly claims the first set, 6-4

Frustrated with the umpire as he feels that some of his decisions were biased in Delbonis's favour

Well, Novak played a horrible first set the other day and then cruised. Andy played an ordinary first, and an ordinary second, but at least he levelled things. Hopefully, here comes the cruise stage...

Still not much spark. Had the break; relinquished said break on a DF.

From 4-1 in the third, all at sea, and sinking fast.
4-6 6-4 4-5*

Edit: change 1-4 to 4-1

Just about surfaces, from beneath the waves. Delbonis tightened, and Andy stumbles into the TB.
These 3 month breaks might not become a fixture in the schedule! Come on!

Well Done Delbonis! Took his chances eventually.

Yes, Andy was very below par, quite apart from letting a break go in the third, and a mini break go in the TB. However, Federico earned that, picking himself up after a couple of stumbles.
On to Miami, which might be interesting if he gets there tomorrow as the voting takes place.
I'll chose to write this one off to the fractured schedule, others may not feel that germaine.

R3: Andy MURRAY (GBR) [2] 2 lost to Federico DELBONIS (ARG) 53 4-6 6-4 6-7(3)
