Wins for Nell and Gemma.

Keep an eye out for Nell - very capable player and doesn't play too much on ITF tour, so has a false ranking

This tournament has been a rite of passage for GB Davis Cup doubles stars, so there is still hope for you yet Mathew smile In 2004 Dom Inglot reached the final only to be beaten by Jamie Murray (who also won the doubles - http://www.itftennis.com/juniors/tournaments/tournament/info.aspx?tournamentid=1100006786). The girls singles went to Caroline Wozniacki - whatever happened to her confusewink

Emile has to tackle the top seed next - the weaker of the Siimar twins (Mattias is ranked around 50)

Boys R1 (L32)

Emile Hudd d. Anton Ornberg (SWE) 3-6 7-5 6-2
(4) Patrick Kristensen (DEN) d. Julian Robinson 6-1 6-4
(3) Adam Jones d. Yevgen Sirous (UKR) 6-4 3-6 6-4

R2

(1) Kristofer Siimar (EST) v Emile Hudd
(Q) Erik Carlsten (SWE) v (3) Adam Jones

Girls R1 (L32)

Nell Miller d. (Q) Hanna Schmidt Axelsson (SWE) 6-3 4-6 6-3
(2) Gemma Heath d. (Q) Veronika Pepelyaeva (RUS) 6-2 6-2

R2

Nell Miller v Julita Saner (SWE)
Basak Akbas (TUR) v (2) Gemma Heath

A win for Nell as well, but Emile lost in 3 to the top seed

Adam Jones also won. So that's 3 out of 4. And Emile losing 5-7 in the third, against the top seed, as above, is a very fine effort.

Good effort from Emile. Gemma has a rematch from last week, which she edged. If you recognise the name of Nell's opponent it is probably because her older sister Diana is a regular opponent of Brits on the ITF circuit

Boys R2

(1) Kristofer Siimar (EST) d. Emile Hudd 6-4 2-6 7-5
(3) Adam Jones d. (Q) Erik Carlsten (SWE) 6-2 6-1

QF

(7) Sebastian Grundtvig (DEN) v (3) Adam Jones

Girls R2

Nell Miller d. Julita Saner (SWE) 6-4 6-2
(2) Gemma Heath d. Basak Akbas (TUR) 6-1 7-5

QF

(3) Deniza Marcinkevica (LAT) v Nell Miller
Ida Ferding (SWE) v (2) Gemma Heath

And just to note that we have a guaranteed finalist in the doubles, as Nell+ won their dubs too, and play Gemma+ in the semis.

(The two boys' teams won their first round and then lost in the quarters)

Nell Miller chalked up an excellent (and hard won) victory against the third seed, winning 6-7(6) 7-6(2) 6-1
