Curse the rain. Andy was due on at roughly 12.45, and I would probably have stayed up to follow it. If it is going to be an hour or more later than that, I won't make it I'm afraid. I need my beauty sleep.

Ditto! At least Murray will get some more rest!

I'm beginning to dislike the rain I won't be able to stay up either, will anybody? If so please post updates on here even if there's noone else around as I love to read through the match before looking up the score anywhere else, the updates are always of such high quality.

Me too. If I have managed to avoid seeing the score before I come on the board, I read the comments through from the start and it is almost like following it live - only quicker and with less stress!

They are saying on MTF that the rain has stopped and they are drying the courts. More rain is expected, however, and the later matches may have to be postponed.

Now, if they would like to put Andy's match on early tomorrow, I wouldn't complain

Stadium 1 and 3 have restarted, maybe Stadium 2 had bigger puddles.

Me too. After going to bed at 3am last night and then rising at 6am to leave at seven for the frozen north and a brass band contest which has lasted all day, I'd prefer a Sunday match for Andy. But, if there's no rain, I'll still be there. A match against the world no 5 is not to be missed !!!

Off for a kip....just until 2.00am......cannot see it being on before !!!!

That would be 6.00pm local time so no danger in it not being played...except of course if it rains again

Raining again . . . I give up, goodnight all. I hope either I wake up to find Andy has won or that they have postponed the match to an early start Sunday!
