Murray v Mazarakis

Not a great deal to go on for this guy. Here's his Davis Cup profile;

Date of Birth 09 Feb 1980
Place of Birth Athens, Greece
Height 1.78m
Weight 72kg
Handed Right Handed
Singles Ranking 126
Doubles Ranking 155

He has an 11-8 winning record in DC matches.

Other sites have conflicting information though. SI.com has him down as a 106 year old amateur who has no physical dimensions in their bio.

He had a recent straight sets drubbing by Gozalez.

Difficult to be 100% confident, not having a clue about this boy, but i guess a quick match should be in order. i've gone for Murray in 2.

Tim H seems to be playing at the far end of the small hours, so I assume Andy will be playing sometime tomorrow night?  Good Luck to all the Brits!

ps like the options, Stagger. Though it does remind me a bit too much of my Classic Civ hw

Andy is 3rd on court with an 8pm GMT start time - tonight around midnight-ish, I would guess?

Overnighters for both Tim and Greg.

Love the options Stagger, I've gone for Andy in two, which seems to be the consesus here. Let's hope we're all right!

I probably won't be around this evening but will check first thing in the morning, hopefully getting my day off to a good start!

Ah bless! Hope you feel better soon, hopefully it is the 24 hour type. I used to get flu every winter until the doc started giving me the flu jab (despite being too young to qualify for it) so I know how miserable it is.

Yes, I will be around.

What do you mean by 1st to 3 sets?

They were last year ! Fed beat Hewitt in 3 straight sets.

Unless they changed the rules the men will play first to 3 sets !

I reckon the earliest he could be on would be 10pm. Thats if the ladies match took 30mins and the mens match took 90mins !

For change overs etc I would bet that it wont start until 11pm !!!

Hi it is only the final that is best of five sets. The other rounds are just best of three.

I'll be up tonight but I won't get in until 11.30pm tonight so I'm hoping that the Murray match will start at around midnight.

Welcome to the site, Judith and Lucy
