Van Uytvanck and Pronkers still looking good for a four-hour classic. First set to Belgium after 52 minutes.

Be good if Pironkova could keep van Uytvanck out on court for as long as she kept Anne on court in Plovdiv a few years ago wink

Doesn't look likely anymore. The second set is rapidly going away from Pironkova.

I think so - judging by previous years, it's only in the playoffs that they stop if it's 2-0.

Belgium definitely await us this time. :P

Van Uytvanck wins in straight sets. Belgium 2-0

Looks like the doubles is definitely going ahead. They've just started the warm up.

All the best GB vs Belgium, certainly got a chance.

Just hope Katie quickly gets over that potentially traumatising experience we saw pictorial evidence of earlier

Shocking start in the doubles. I hope there isn't an issue.

Back from 0-3 to 2-3; the dubs was always going to be Georgia's strongest suit; not a bad thing providing they pull through for JossAnna to have a good work-out :)

First 5 second serves from Jossanna were DFs, which is nothing to do with Georgia. Now up to 7DFs from 10.

Georgia have a decent doubles pairing, which is why this tie was by no means a certain victory. Thankfully Katie won her match to make the doubles irrelevant, and hopefully Joss & Anna are just saving their best for the Belgians.
