Got to give this a shot this year, probably too optimistic but I am excited by the way some of our younger guys came on towards the end of the current season.

A year of health and happiness for Mr Muirray, allowing him to play at the top of his game - and to enjoy time with his family. Continued progress for Mr Bedene and Mr Edmund - fixtures in the top 100, and perhaps top 50 for both? A career year for Mr Ward starting from the Davis Cup - again, a fixture in the top 100, or even top 50. Mr Evans - to have whatever success he truly wants. For all the Challenger-level players - success at that level, with perhaps a breakout year for some. For the youngsters beginning to make a mark, to build on that and make a move into the Challenger level. For those slightly older players experiencing Futures success at present, a continuation of that and a step up to Challengers.
And, as I'm a doubles person, some doubles wishes too: Mr Murray and Mr Soares to click. A healthy, stable-partnered year for Messrs Inglot, Fleming and Marray. With the right partners and good health, any of them could have a top-8-team year, assuming all goes well. Success for the Skupski brothers - top 100 a minimum, going for top 50? And for a few of the players in the top 500 to make their mark and go on to regular success in Challengers and perhaps on the main tour. (Special mentions to Darren Walsh, the most undermentioned GB player on the tour, given his ranking; Joe Salisbury ... what he and David O'Hare did when their coach was with them suggests that with a little more concentrated coaching, they could be quite a pair; and Dan Smethurst, who, if he had played a full set of doubles tournaments at the same number of points per tournament as the few he did play would have been somewhere between Mr Klein and Mr Salisbury in the rankings. Oh yes, and the Broady/Bambridge pairing ...)
