The culmination of the junior ITF season sees Sofia Kenin, Dalma Galfi, Katie Swan and Tereza Mihaikova battling it out to see if any of them can dislodge Marketa Vondrousova from the number 1 spot. Qualifying was postponed from yesterday, and features Ali Collins, Donia Abdel-Aziz and Ben Draper. Apart from Katie, Alexis Canter and Ryan Storrie should be in the boys ' main draw
Katie is seeded 3 and drawn in the top half of the singles; Kenin is top seed; Anismova, Katie's nemesis in Mexico, is also in the top half but would meet Kenin before Katie

Katie handed bakery products to her opponent earlier in the year, though she appears to have improved since then. Ryan won a three setter against his opponent in the spring. Just qualifying matches today.
Boys R1 (L64)
Alexis Canter v (14) Ulises Blanch (USA)
(WC) Nathan Perrone (USA) v Ryan James Storrie
Rain continues to play havoc with the tournament but Katie is one of the first to complete her R1 match posting a comfortable 6-4 6-1 win. Emily Appleton has also won easily in the under 16s. Live scores etc. are at orangebowltennis.ids-sports.com/Default.aspx
I see Katie is not partnering Kenin here in the dubs but seeded 2 with 15 years old Andreescu CAN; if the draw works out they'll play Kenin+ seeded 4 in the SFs...
