Just checked the points Jay is defending over the next couple of months. Jay's only got 26 points to defend (for winning a round at Eastbourne) between now and 29th July. Then after the 95 points for Binghamton and Lexington combined, only another fifteen points until the end of the year. On the face of it, it seems like a good platform to press forward up the rankings if he can stay healthy and injury free. Potentially exciting times!
He won't be defending the Binghamton points for sure due to playing that World Team Tennis competition instead. It does indeed seem like a good time to build on those points from last year.
I don't think Jay is playing WTT any more. He doesn't appear on Vegas Rollers roster for whom he was drafted.

According to Insta he is currently on a training block on clay at the Mouratoglou academy.
Interesting given some recent discussions / speculation that Jay's recent absence ( and perhaps some of his previous play ) appears to have been partly or wholly down to injury.
