Shame they lost the doubles. Hope Katie is ready for the singles final as she doesn't have the best of records in junior finals.

Katie has more senior singles titles than junior titles - thus the 1 xG4 compared to 2 x 10k

Streaming underway. Both players wearing same kit, same visor and have same hairstyle, so only way to distinguish is that Katie is wearing darker shoes.

Decent crowd.
The young Russian was all at sea for a bit, but just played a stunning game to break back as Katie served for the first set.

Katie saved one matchpoint on serve to hold for 3-5 but Anisimova served out to 15 for the title.

Steady !

A junior Grade A yes and pity about the final outcome yes, but I'm sure not at all as meaningful as a junior Slam and all worthwhile experience, this on clay, for the 16 yo going forward.

As for losing quite a few junior finals, she's won the two ITF 10K singles finals that she's so far reached in this her first year of adding in senior tournaments.
