There has been a lot of rain in the area, so the USTA have been given permission to halt qualification and put 16 players through from qualifying into the main draw, including Josh Wilson. I assume that is why he and 15 others are on the drawsheet as ()

It wasn't an irrelevance but Ali came out the right side of her match tiebreak to make the final. Ali did lose in the doubles semis to her singles final opponent
