We are now guaranteed to have 20 in the top 500 on Monday week.
Sorry, Bob, but we are talking GB women's doubles players. The current GB #20 and WR 503 Emilie Lindh's Egypt W15 title will now mean 20 in the top 500.
Re men's singles, we continue to have 17 in the top 500 with Felix holding on in there for now.
George Loffhagen's super India M25 title adds 25 points to his total and will take him up to GB #21 and approximately WR 560.
Projected 10/04 points ( live WR 500 is on 76 points ) 17. Felix G 77 18. Kyle E 72 19. Giles H 72 20. Harry W 66 21. Toby S 63 22. Mark W 62 23. George L 60
Kyle has a WC to the Murcia Challenger MD for this coming week. A R1 win would bring us up to 18 in the top 500. Felix is entered into the Spain M25 and in ITF M15 action we will have Giles, Mark and George.
So theoretically ( been quite a lot of theoreticallys that have never come to pass! ) we could have 20 in the top 500 by 17/04 with Kyle, Giles and maybe Mark sneaking in plus George would be at least getting very close with an M15 title to follow up his M25 title.
Slight problem going forward is that the window for pushing up to 20 may be closing for a time if it doesn't happen very soon. If he doesn't add quite a few points Felix is due to drop out of the top 500 on 24/04, as is Jay Clarke on 01/05 when he drops 80 points from his Mexico Challenger title last year.

Go guys !
Err, I see that Felix, Giles and Mark have all withdrawn from these upcoming week's ITFs. So forget even "theoretically" for the time being.
To complete the set, we continue to have 16 women singles players in the top 500.
Adding in the points Marni, Emilie and Joanne have added from their W15s this past week ...
Projected points at 10/04 ( live WR 500 is on 84 points ) :
14. Emily A 100 15. Freya C 97 16. Amarni B 91
17. Amanda C 79 18. Sarah Beth G 74 19. Emilie L 70 20 Jasmine C 55
Go ladies !

How ruddy annoying. I go to the trouble of setting out a nice table of the lower end GB lop 20 rankings ( safe enough I thought with the lower ITF tournament points not adding for a further week ) and then Fran Jones comes along and I have to update it. Gee
Live ranking points now for 10/04 :
19. Emilie L 70
20. Fran J 56
21. Jasmine C 55
Still going of course in her Colombia WTA 250 and looking quite capable of causing further hastle - eg. a R2 win and she will be up to 86 points and be a 17th GB woman in the top 500
Expecting a few more men after the Nottingham series, although Jay Clarke in danger of dropping out.
Felix too will drop put of the top 500 on 24/04 ( dropping 16 points ). Jay indeed is then in danger of dropping out in the following rankings, on 08/05 ( dropping 7 points on 24/04 and 80 on 08/05 ).
So, on 24/04, if Kyle is in, with Felix out we will still be on 17 in the top 500.
Kyle is due to gain a mandatory R1 10 points or two soon so.should then be comfortably in the top 500 in the medium term even without winning a further match.
I don't know that I'd necessarily "expect" a few more men after the Nottingham series. It is very possible, but history indicates a regular divergence between what is very possible and what actually transpires. Hopefully though ...

Agreed - it needs things to align to make it happen; Mark W v Harry W is a plus (one of them will progress a round at least ) but also a big negative, (one of them will lose R1) in terms of getting the numbers for the top 500, as an example
